Richmond Series - This is a new series of original acrylic paintings down on deep gallery-wrapped canvases. I seek in each of the paintings to portray a little bit of ordinary Richmond life seen under the brilliance of Virginia summer sun.
These five "Cary Street" paintings mark the beginning of the series; as I proceed through the series the seasons and time of day will advance as well. The final paintings of the series will show Richmond in a winter's night.
